The Ninja Auto iQ range of blenders have pre- programmed settings within them, so you just have to hit a button and the blender works out the rest for you. This along with their powerful ‘Pro extractor blades’ and ‘Total crushing technology’ means the Ninja blender has the capability to make perfect smoothies.

It can easily break down seeds, all types of leafy veggies and both fresh and frozen fruits, for perfect nutrient and vitamin extraction. Plus it can also crush ice in seconds to make lovely cold and thick smoothies.

It is a bit fiddly to make sure all the parts are properly in place after washing and does need to be taken apart properly to make sure all the food has been washed out, but that is quite normal when using a blender for smoothies, plus it is dishwasher safe if you’re lucky enough to have one.

ninja-side-profileI think it’s a great value for money blender, that doesn’t take up that much space in the kitchen and has all the capabilities to help you easily make delicious smoothies and therefore add more healthy fruit and vegetables to your diet.

Hello, I really like your site, it is filled with very useful information. I especially like the page on coconut oil. Does it really increase your energy? Is this something that can be put in a cup of tea? Is the blender able to convert rice into rice flour. I am gluten free and this is very valuable to me.

      Hi Holly,

Thanks for your comments and yes the Ninja blender can grind rice into rice flour and one cup of rice makes about 1 1/2 cups of flour.

Coconut oil can help increase your energy as well as having lots of other great health benefits. I know some people who do have it in coffee and I have tried this, but personally don’t like it as it makes it a bit oily for me. I don’t think it would be great in tea either, but you could try. I just take a tablespoon of it straight when I first get up before my morning drinks or add it to a shake if I’m making one in the blender.
