On the weekday mornings we normally get up pretty early. I’ll throw in some ingredients to make a quick, easy and healthy smoothie.

The beauty of smoothies is you can choose whatever ingredients you fancy and therefore have a different flavoured nutritious drink every day.

I grab whatever fruit I have in and also always try to add rolled oats to my post-workout breakfast smoothie whenever I can. Oats have many great health benefits and are a great source of complex carbohydrates and fibre. They help to make a nice thick smoothie that’ll fill me up for hours. Often I’ll also mix it up a bit and add some veggies as well like broccoli or bok choi to give it an extra nutritional punch.
