Variety Of Uses
I’ve already mentioned that I add Whey Protein to my smoothies as often I have it as my breakfast meal, but you can also just put it in a shaker with water, juice or milk.
There are so many different other ways you can incorporate it in your diet as well. You can stir it into your oatmeal; add it to your pancake mix or mix into Chia pudding.
It is also great to add to so many variations of sweet yet healthy deserts and snacks such as different variations of muffins, bars, cookies and cheesecake.
Why not try one of my favourites which are ‘Yummy mini protein bars’ These are not only really simple to make but are perfect to keep stored in the freezer for when you fancy a naughty tasting snack. Another favourite snack when needing something sweet is theses cinnamon and vanilla balls.
Cinnamon and Vanilla Protein Balls
2 1/2 cups of rolled oats
1/3 cup of wild honey
1/3 cup of creamy peanut butter
3/4 scoop of Vanilla protein powder
1 Tbsp of cinnamon
Mix all ingredients together and then get your hands in the bowl and roll twenty mini balls from the mixture.
Place them all on a baking tray lined with grease-proof paper and pop in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Then dust with extra protein powder and cinnamon and put in a couple of resealable bags.
I normally put half a dozen in the fridge and the rest in the freezer for later so I don’t eat them all 🙂
Dymatize Elite Whey Protein is my personal favourite type of whey protein powder and you may already have your own totally different one.
However if you haven’t starting including whey protein into your diet yet then I hope you do try this great tasting one with so many different yummy flavours to chose from.
